CAROL T, L.AC, MSTOM

Born in Northern California, Carol had the opportunity to live in many different cities across the country. Although her school and environment changed yearly, the one constant in her life was the use of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) such as medicinal herbs, food therapy, gua sha/scraping, and cupping. These early exposures as a kid laid a foundation for her fascination for this healing art.

Frustrated with how conventional medicine was unable to help her digestive and psychoemotional concerns, she turned to acupuncture and herbs and was bewildered by how much better she felt. This catapulted her education and career towards Eastern Medicine. She found herself in sunny San Diego, where she graduated with a Master of Science from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, she had the pleasure of treating patients from all different demographics including active military and veterans, low income, homeless, UCSD athletes, and Rady's Hospital children.

She continues to be amazed by how this beautiful healing tradition nourishes the body from within and addresses the core issues at hand. Seeing the body as a whole to address the physical, mental, and spiritual bodies just makes sense. She has experience in treating an array of disorders involving acute and chronic pain, digestion, women's health, fertility, psycho-emotional, sleep, allergies, and more. She feels fortunate to be in this field and excited to help others on their journey to optimal health.
