Meet Our Team

CAROL, L.AC, MSTOM
Being from an immigrant family, Carol grew up in a household surrounded by Eastern modalities like acupuncture, herbal medicine, and food therapy. These early exposures as a kid laid a foundation for her fascination with the healing art.
Frustrated with how conventional medicine was unable to help her digestive and emotional concerns, she turned to acupuncture and herbs and was bewildered by how much better she felt. This catapulted her education and career towards Eastern Medicine. Throughout her education, she had the pleasure of treating patients from all different demographics, including active military and veterans, underserved low-income and homeless communities, UCSD athletes, and Rady's Hospital children.
She continues to be amazed by how this beautiful healing tradition nourishes the body from within and addresses the core issues at hand. Seeing the body as one collective unit to address the physical, mental, and spiritual bodies just makes sense. She has experience in treating an array of disorders involving acute and chronic pain, digestion, women's health, fertility, psycho-emotional, sleep, allergies, and more. She feels fortunate to be in this field and excited to help others on their journey to optimal health.

ALEXIS, L.AC, DACM
Being drawn to helping others from a young age, Alexis always felt called to a path in the healing arts. It was during her studies in medical anthropology that her perspective expanded, inspiring her to explore natural approaches to health beyond Western medicine.
Through her own experiences with Acupuncture and Chinese medicine, Alexis felt deeply seen, heard, and understood. This experience has shaped her passion for this medicine. She is dedicated to offering that same sense of care to her patients, supporting pain relief, emotional well-being, stress reduction, and nervous system regulation.
Throughout her education and clinical training, Alexis has had the privilege of treating patients from diverse backgrounds, supporting their physical, emotional, and energetic needs. She is passionate about helping individuals cultivate inner peace by restoring harmony within the mind, body, and spirit.
She creates a calm and nurturing space where patients feel supported and at ease. Alexis approaches each treatment with care and intention, helping guide the body back into balance and supporting lasting well-being.
